Tribal Wildfire Resilience - A win for Santa Ysabel!

The Iipay Nation of Santa Ysabel is one of thirteen tribes to be awarded the Tribal Wildfire Resilience grant. We have graciously been awarded $2 million to complete tribal-led projects in fuels reduction, mitigation, forest management and more. This grant will create jobs for 10 full-time staff, running an 8-person brush crew, Propagation Specialist and an Emergency Readiness Manager.
